Maine Highlands FCU sponsored their annual children’s pie eating contest at the Piscataquis River Festival on July 29, 2023. All participants received goody bags, and the winners were rewarded with cash prizes!

Golf to End Hunger Tournament
Our 3rd Annual Golf to End Hunger Tournament was held on June 11, 2023 and was a big success! We hosted 19 teams, totaling 76 golfers, who enjoyed a great day of golf at the Dexter Municipal Golf Course.

Canaan Office Grand Opening
After first opening our doors in November of 2019, we were finally able to hold the grand opening for our Canaan branch on September 10, 2022. Many enjoyed a barbecue lunch, games, lots of giveaways, several $100 account drawings, and more!
K9 Ballistic Vest Fundraiser
We’re partnering with the Spirit of Blue Foundation to purchase two K9 Ballistic Vests to keep our local canine officers safe. All donations benefit Canine Officers of the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Department and the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department. To make a donation using Facebook, click here.

On January 25th, 2020, members enjoyed a day of free skiing at Big Squaw Mountain in Greenville. Monty Moose was on hand to welcome everyone!
2019 Tree and Wreath Festivals
Maine Highlands FCU entered trees in the Sebasticook Tree Festival, the Piscataquis Tree Festival and the Aliza Jean Foundation Wreath Festival this year.
2019 Thanksgiving Bake Sale
Bake sales held in our Dexter, Guilford, Brownville and Greenville offices during Thanksgiving week brought in a total of $491.20 for Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger!
